DO FERAL CATS MAKE GOOD PETS?

For our first topic, I want to know what you guys think of feral cats.  Do they make good pets? Should they be "put down", or simply left alone?  I am very passionate about this topic, but I really want to know what you all think, so I will save my opinion until next week.

D, I'm my opinion, feral cats should be left alone in their natural habitat. I think that's the way nature desires them to be and that's where they are most comfortable.

I sort of disagree with Jay. I think it depends. I have friends who have feral cats in their back yard and they take care of them. When a kitten was abandoned by its mom for some reason, they took it in and it became a house cat. So, I think it all depends.
