I grew up with dogs; my father is a dog lover. My friendly nature is due to these canine creatures. A few of my college essays were devoted to their behavior; I tried to explain their warm, loyal attitude to their owners. My theories are based from my observations on some of our past pets.

I can't forget Maltose, who was eager for attention. He seemed hurt when we ignored him for quite some time; he kept his distance when we called him. One of my dad's past pets is a female dog called Missie. We treated her like part of the family, so maybe that's the reason she howled and scratched the front door when she wanted to enter. 

I attempted to shed light on the dogs' aversion to water. Taking a bath in particular. I had a hard time looking for custom papers , so I wrote about my struggles on bathing them and drying them afterwards. 

I don't own a dog at the moment, but I'm not discounting the probability of having one soon. I learned to love them. They don't expect anything in return, which makes them special.
